I met Dave years ago at the Roseville, Michigan Cracker Barrel where I often stopped on the way to work in the morning and Dave was going to his job at the nearby Jeffrey Auto Dealership. We struck up a friendship and he treated me to a "retirement" breakfast when I retired from teaching in 2011. I was the organist at his wife Peggy's funeral at St Faustina Church in Warren.
I am playing for a memorial service this Saturday at St Faustina and something told me to look up Dave. I was saddened to hear of his passing...
