The boardgaming world is just discovering this news. We assume this was Steven:
https://boardgamegeek.com/user/eaglesecho
For the past two years he ran a weekly MadLibs thread on BoardGameGeek.com. We will miss him, and carry on the tradition.
If anyone can confirm that this in fact Teven (eaglesecho) on BGG, please contact me at lennyscovel@gmail.com
Again, deepest condolences from our community.

Steve was a man like no other. He was the kindest soul I've ever met. He had the innate ability to find those who were hurting or insecure or who felt unloved. His life shined bright and whenever you were in his presence you felt special. The amount of love he poured into this world was that of 50 lifetimes. I choose to remember Steve by thinking of all the lives he has touched and all the possible lives he has saved through the years through his kindness, love, and faith in the Lord. His light will be missed, but when we remember his kindness and share it with others perhaps we can bring some of his light back to the world.

There are no words to express how blessed I have been to have known Steven the past several years as a co-worker at the Barrington of Oakley. What an extraordinary, amazing, kind, funny, and fun person he was. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Steven has been a huge part in the heart of Barrington from his first day as Concierge. He treated every single person with kindness, every day, over and over again. He sent funny messages, gave out stickers to cheer people up if they looked grim or down. He jumped in to help in any way he could. He was unique and confident. He was real and true blue. He paid attention to important things for other people and was a good listener. Steven took out time for everyone and caused people to be better humans. His love for God's Word was something he loved to talk about. He shared many scriptures and biblical thoughts. He was not afraid or ashamed to carry his Bible around and read it everyday in the breakroom. He also loved his beautiful sweet wife Natalie! He was so proud of her. He spoke of her often always in the most loving ways. This man will live on in our hearts and he has taught all of us many things. I wish the world was full of Steven Carpenters - because it would be an amazing place. Respectfully, Melinda Jeffers.
