I was just telling someone about filming our boxing matches on the back patio, then eating ham sandwiches and laughing at the guys who lost and/or cried. Came here and found James had passed. I'll never forget the Hurley family!

I never knew Jamie in real life, but I used to spend a lot of time talking to him online many many years back. He was quite the presence on our boxing forum, and even though he hadn't been there for a decade, he is still referenced on a regular basis with such fondness and respect. He impacted so many people and made us all laugh until we cried. He was one of the funniest people I have ever known, and he brought so much joy to us all. Those who are left from the old days are sharing stories and having a laugh in his honor. He was one of the greats, and won't be forgotten.

So hard to look at all of these photos.. Smile and laugh one minute and sob the next. Life sucks sometimes.. A lot of times I should say.
