I remember Mr. Wright to be a genuinely good man, soft spoken and kind hearted. I came to know him through his wife, Lois, who was a dear friend of my Mom, Claudine. I once worked with Lois and also count her as a friend. I will always remember the good times when Lois and Mr. Wright came to visit. In time, I came to miss their visits as the years went by and my Mom passed.
May God bless Mr. Wright, Lois and all the family.

We will miss seeing Vola at the Crider Family Reunions. Seems like part of the family after all these years of family relations and worshiping together. We will be praying for this precious family at this difficult time. All our love, Karen

Love and Prayers for the family. Will really miss him and his stories and if I dare interrupt one of them he would say hold on now I am not finished. Loved having him for meals he enjoyed eating and going back in time with his memories. So thankful he is having a great time now, pain free I am blessed for having him in my life...

Mr. Wright was a truly genuine and authentically kind man. His in-depth conversations and interested smile showed his care for everyone in a room. I pray for all the family, especially Lois, who he loved so much- truly his whole life. What a nice example of a man! Eternal rest, grant to him.

Grandpa Wright was a one of a kind, I have never met anyone like him. He was unconventional in his ways and always smiling. He couldn't read or write, but he made up for it in his social interaction. Didn't matter how old or who you were, Grandpa could relate and have good conversation. I loved Grandpa's stories. He would tell them as if they were yesterday.
Growing up, the grand-kids spent so much time with Grandma and Grandpa over summer breaks and weekends. You just expected the usual things when you ran into Grandpa, Your going to get a Bear Hug, he is going to rub his stubbly harsh beard into your face. Growing up I hated it, but now its one of the things I am going to miss. I also remember grandpa's antics, if it could get you to laugh or smile, Grandpa was all over it! Weather its his "Dog's" or Billy Bass Talking Fish, or sticking his freezing cold hands down your back. Grandpa's antics were always odd but its what made him who he was.
Grandma and Grandpa were always the staple of our family and friends. Every year no matter how old or sick they were, they would cram way to many people in to way to little space for holidays or gatherings. Grandpa always grasping at anything for people to sit on, but not Grandpa he wanted everyone else to be happy and comfortable so he would happily stand. He would always count the people to show up as if he is trying to break a record. He loved our family, he loved his friends and loved Grandma's cooking.
Its going to be hard to move on from Grandpa, when ever i visit I'll expect him to be there. Either sitting on the porch, watching people or sitting in his chair staring out the window. It was the simple life that grandpa loved, just to sit and enjoy the weather with a cool drink and conversation. His button up shirt undone except the last few buttons, letting his chest out to the breeze. I'm going to miss calling their number without the old man picking up and holding the phone as far as possible from his mouth and uttering "heeelllooo". You know the voice!
I remember going to church on Sundays, Grandpa would always sit away from everyone in the very last pew. I think he did this because that's how he felt God, that's how he could focus on the holy spirit. He had his favorite songs and loved good preaching. Grandpa loved to talk about God and the church, I am so happy he found Jesus, because I know he is there now. There with Sandy, there with Kenny and with his family smiling ear to ear and "Hootin and Hollerin". Heaven has a hand-full with Grandpa, but gained a good man, a good servant and a humble soul.
I love you Grandpa, I'll see you again one day.
