We are so sorry for your loss. He was always so very sweet, kind, caring. So fun and gentle in every way. We are so blessed to have know him and to have so many fond memories with him and all of your family we will cherish forever. All the camping and boating trips together, such a blast, and oh yes...I loved playing those card games with all of you and I sure do remember the Diet RIte Cola in the big glass.
We are praying for all of you during these difficult days. May all of you find peace and comfort knowing God is holding him and all of you in the palm of His hands and he now is looking down with smiles and love on his beloved family. Donna, know that I have had you and your family in my prayers. I know how hard it is to lose a parent and my heart goes out to you. Dear Doris, Diane, Donna, David, and extended family,
Words fail to express the many complex thoughts I have and how sad I am at the news of Dick's passing. My most cherished memories of more than 50 years ago include you all as my "other" family. I spent so much time at your house. I still have dreams about us all in that house on Juniperview.
Diane, we could finish each other's sentences. Every weekend we had sleepovers. I remember Dick taking the whole family (plus one) to the drive-in movies on Madison Rd. It was always fun with you guys. I love you all and thank God for letting me be a small part of your family in the 60's.
And yes, I remember Dick's love of Diet Rite Cola.

What a kind and caring man! Mr. Heitz was always a gentleman in every sense of the word and I can't imagine the ache his loss must cause in the Heitz family. I can't help but "see" him across the street at the big, white Heitz home on Juniperview, where the kids grew up and Mr. & Mrs. Heitz provided for all of them in such a loving way.
