Dear Buddy and Pam - we were neighbors on Winsray Court and Craig, along with your other children, were a big part of the neighborhood. My favorite memory of Craig is when he showed up at my front door with a metal lunchbox and he brought his own disposable diaper. I don’t know if you check these messages, but if you do, I have wonderful memories of your time as my neighbors. I don’t do Facebook or any social media, but if you’d like to contact me, I’m at jdusterberg@cinci.rr.com. So sorry for your loss - Craig was such a sweet little guy..

Thanks for all the kinds words, flowers and the donation to Children Hospital Heart fund.Craig was truly a blessed person to have so many friends. He said a long time ago he was going to be a millionaire and he was not in dollars but in friends.

Dear Earl and Pam:
I am thinking of you today as you prepare to have visitation and funeral for Craig. I didn't know him but felt like I did when Earl would share stories of the children during long contract negotiations sessions. I am at a lost for words but know that prayers provide comfort. Please know that I am there in spirit with you in that I am recovering from knee replacement surgery. Prayers are extended for your family. May God grant you strength, grace, mercy and good friends, family to surround you with love.
Fondly,
Robin Busby

My heartfelt condolences are with the family and friends of Craig.....gone from sight but not from memory.
I graduated a year before Craig did, and we lost touch after that. Craig was more an acquaintance than as a friend. He called me Peg Leg when i had to wear a knee brace. He wasn't being malicious, just merely trying to make light of how awkwardly I walked with my brace. Craig was a jokster with a great smile, and his play on the soccer field and his intensity on the wrestling mat were admirable. Madeira was such a small hometown; we all knew each other in some way.
As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the heartbreaking sorrow it must be for you, Mr. and Mrs. Leonhardt, to lose your precious son. May the Lord wrap you in His loving comfort. May you find your souls nourished by the love, memories, and kindness so many are offering you during this time of sorrow and grief.
Meg and David. your Dad's love lives on in each of you. I hope that you are reassured of his love with each memory recalled. Tears will come, but I pray joy will one day follow those tears.
May God bless all of you....and may Craig rest in peace.

Nancy and I were so sorry to hear of Craig's passing from our son Dan. Dan and Craig were best friends, and were in touch every week, often several times per week.
We have so many great memories of Craig, primarily from his high school days. He was one of the funniest guys we have ever met. We so enjoyed him playing Ed Grimley at the Madeira H.S. talent show.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Your family and Craig will be in our thoughts an prayers going forward.

Craig made working fun. We worked together nearly every day and we all loved him so much. The darkest days were sunny around Craig and his great sense of humor. He loved to make life better for all of us at 1071. His memory will be with us forever, still making us laugh for years to come. My deepest sympathy to the family. You made a wonderful man with all your love and support; we hated to see him in pain but we knew what a supportive family he had behind him. Love to all of you; Craig will live in our hearts forever.
