I love you, dad. I’ll never forget the treehouse you built us, (which was literally a house on stilts with a shingle roof, equipped with electric outlets and a tv), boots, trips to “the greasy spoon” on Saturday mornings, “secret” ice cream, and the beer runs we went on when I got my first apartment. Those were all good times that I will never forget.
You fought the good fight, and I’m proud of you for that.
I’m sorry I didn’t do more for you while you were here. I never thought this day would come. Hindsight is 20/20.
I can only imagine that you’ve wasted no time and you already have a few girlfriends up there. That is Mike Kehoe for you.
Say hello to my grandparents and Uncle Peter for me.
Rest easy, dad. You deserve it.

I enjoyed our times together on this earth. Now you are in God's Hands enjoying your Heavenly Home with Pete, Mom and Dad. For that is your just reward for a life well served.
