Obituary of Kay C. Robinson

ROBINSON

Kay C. (nee Clark), beloved wife of 54 years to Samuel L. Robinson, cherished mother of Craig (Sonal) Robinson of Wadsworth, OH, devoted grandmother of Andrew and Rachael Robinson, of Wadsworth, OH. Loving sister of Kathy (the late Richard) Murphy of Unionville, MO, Thomas Clark of Chicago, IL, Annette (Derek) Yoshikawa of Honolulu, HI, and Tammy (Roger) Cassidy of Unionville, MO and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Passed away on Sunday, January 21^st at the age of 80. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 26^th from 5-7PM at Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for over 20 years, 8000 Miami Ave. (45243). Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27^th at the church at 10:30AM. Kay was very involved in everything she did. She taught first and second grade students in a one room schoolhouse in St. Johns, MI. She taught home economics for both junior high students in Grand Rapids MI. and high school students in King City, CA. She was a real estate agent in Cincinnati and was also the County Extension Agent with Michigan State University, where she was the coordinator for over 500 4-H clubs. She was a member of Kenwood Country Club, the Dyslexia Association, where her love of reading drew her to become a tutor and she was very involved in PEO. Kay enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing bridge, world-wide traveling, and music. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church.
