Mr. Gallenstein was my mathematics teacher at Indian Hill High School. I graduated in 1969. I had lost contact with him but my mother was a resident at The Lodge and we reconnected with him. My older brother, Gregg, class of 66 at Indian Hill, visited him several times in the last few years. Mr. Gallenstein was an inspiration to me. I always enjoyed mathematics as he made it a living thing rather than just numbers. I probably should have been an engineer, like my father, but went on to become a physician. I talked with him several times at The Lodge. I appreciated the fact that his son would come and entertain the residents there and my mother and I sat in on several of his performances. Thanks for him and for your family.
