Mrs. Eschmeyer and Family,
Saddened to hear about the passing of your husband.
I was a friend of Fritz's back in the early 80's and vividly remember my first time being invited by Fritz to "come over Gregg and meet my Mom and Dad." And quite a visit it was. I remember trying to be on my best behavior and being a tad nervous which Fritz got a kick out of but when I got to meet Mr.& Mrs. Eschmeyer - all those nervous feelings but vanished and they truly made me feel like a member of their family.
I must have spent over an hour or two talking Red's baseball and general chit chat while shooting pool while talking to Fritz's mom and dad. I remember thinking "how lucky Fritz was to have folks like that." Great memories. Time Marches on. Everytime I make my way through my old hometown I drive by the Eschmeyer's and can't help but smile but yet feel a tad sad. I still miss my friend Fritz all these years.
Hang in there Mrs. Eschmeyer and know that of course you and your husband are loved and thought about by a young (now 51yrs. young) friend of Fritz's.
