Members of Steinmetz family:
I was very sorry to hear about the death of Kathy. Kathy was a teacher at St. Ursula Villa the entire time that I was Principal there. (1984 to 2006). During that time I was fortunate to have Kathy on our faculty, teaching the third grade. She was a dedicated, hard working teacher whose first concern was the children under her care. She loved her students and dedicated herself to them on a daily basis. She was very generous with her time and willingly volunteered for faculty committees and served faithfully for many years as the coordinator of our primary program. Kathy worked well with the faculty, was a knowledgeable and positive contributor to our school community, and I personally was privileged to know and work with her. She has been a good and faithful servant of Our Lord and now rests peacefully in the arms of her Creator.
I deeply regret that I will not be able to attend Kathy's funeral Mass. I have had a long standing business appointment that I must attend. Please be sure that my prayers will be with you, and thank you for sharing Kathy with us for all those years.
