My condolence to the family and friends of Charles Rielage, Jr passing.
There is another side of Charles some may not know. He was known far
and wide by many as a dedicated ham radio operator with the the call
sign identity of W8QIW. Ham radio operators team together in times of
disasters providing emergency communications while other means of services
are lost such as telephones, power and the Internet are no longer working.
During times when emergency services are not needed radio operators provide
a public service sending and receiving radiograms to remain efficient.
Charles was indeed a active ham radio operator well known in this service.
We will miss his voice coming from the Buckeye State. I salute Charles
from another ham operator Don Evilsizor call of KA9QWC and my wife
Catherine Evilsizor call sign of WB8ORR.
