Obituary of Thomas N. Woebkenberg

WOEBKENBERG

Thomas N., passed away in his home in Bradenton, FL. on Thursday August 17th at the age of 81.A Cincinnati native, Tom was a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati. The owner of the Thornton Apothecary formerly in Oakley, he went on to retire from the Hale-Justis Drug Company and move to Florida with his beloved wife Kay. He kept his love for pharmacy and his home town with him as he became a member of the Veteran Apothecaries Association of Cincinnati. An avid golfer and active member of Christ the King Church, his days were filled with friends and laughter and endless books and music. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Tom is survived by his wife Kay (nee Schubeler), son Tom (Janet) Woebkenberg, daughter Kitty Reuther (Bob), brother Bill Woebkenberg, sister Angela Dattomo, and grandchildren Sam Rhoney (Brian), Courtney Reuther, Ally Reuther, Rob Reuther, Sarah Woebkenberg, Matt Woebkenberg, Katie Woebkenberg and Maddie Woebkenberg.  Visitation will be held on Friday August 25th, from 5-7p.m. at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 26th at 9AM at St. Gertrude Church 6543 Miami Ave. (45243).
