I'm so sorry and simply can not comprehend this. Matt was a great guy, I just saw him at the infant baptisms Aug 21 where he offered to help me. It's a very intense situation for me to shoot family portraits quickly so we didn't have time to talk. I was even considering sending him a message to let him know I wished we could've talked, but I had to get set up, etc. Life is just so fast sometimes. He was so very creative too. I just don't have words. That's one of the reasons I haven't posted anything yet. We'll certainly miss him. God bless you and your daughter. Jim

Matthew was such a breath of fresh air. Someone who truly knew himself and what he wanted out of life. I will never forget him -- among the many Pursuit gatherings and seeing him behind the lens of a camera on more than one occasion serving his community, my fondest memory of Matthew is when he introduced me to vegan chocolate mousse. What an interesting treat :) My heart aches for those he left behind too soon -- may God be your comfort and peace.
