James Charles, born March 27, 1958 in Omaha, NE, died June 30, 2016 in Mason, OH.
Age 58 years 3 months 3 days, dear son of Burnell and Mary (Mason) Saum died after a lengthy illness in the home of his sister, Judy & John Schehr . Siblings are: Douglas Saum (Judith), Susan Saum Chaves, Bruce Saum (Robin), Linda L. (Saum) Cristiani (Michael), Judy A. (Saum) Schehr (John). Nieces & Nephews are: Tobias D. Saum, Cari Ann Cristiani Mitchell (Brian), Rachel L.(Chaves) McGrath (Greg), Gregory Cristiani (Anna), Vanessa Chaves. Grand-nieces Serena Glo Mitchell, Eulalie M. McGrath, & Grand-nephew Mason D. Saum. Preceded in death by nephews: Nathan James Saum, and David Alexander Chaves. Jim graduated Madeira High School in 1976. He enjoyed playing tuba in the MHS marching band. He also played with the Charter Oak Stationary Marching Band at city-wide community events. He was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed attending games with his brothers. Memorial service will be Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 10:00 am. Thomas-Justin Funeral Home at 7500 Montgomery Rd, Kenwood
