Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Always in every prayer of mine for you all - making request with joy. Always mindful that to live is Christ, and to die is gain. I Loved brother Bob dearly and know that you will miss him so. Quoting Philippians when leaving a condolence for such a sweet loving saint of God seemed only fitting. Heaven's Choir just gained a sweet voice!!

I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Even though he was ill for a long while, you're never prepared to say "good bye." But, "it's not as though we mourn as those who have no hope." We loved listening to your family sing. Bob had the wonderfull bass voice and a loving spirit. He's singing with a heavenly choir now. All our love, Joyce

Cathy, Holly, Missy and Robyn, My sincerest condolences go out to you and your family. I have known Cathy's family for well over 20 years and know how much your dad meant to each of you. Cherish the great memories and know that Heaven is a little brighter with the addition of your dad as an Angel.

I met Bob for the first time in 1978 when we were looking at a new house in Surfwood subdivision. When I saw him in his front yard I stopped to ask him what the neighborhood was like and after talking to him, I told my husband that we should buy the house because with a neighbor like Bob Miller we couldn't find a better place to live & raise our children. Bob was such a special person. We always looked forward to seeing and talking to him on one of his walks or waving hello as we passed him sitting on his front porch. We shall miss him, but we are thankful for all the memories we have and will always cherish. Our deepest condolences to Evelyn & all of his family

I could search throughout Webster's Dictionary and never find words that would adequately convey the godly impact that Uncle Bob had on all who came into contact with him. Likewise, I'm unable to find the words to express the depth of the loss that we all feel today. Words just fail me. All I can think of is, "Our loss is truly heaven's gain". All of the family knows they have been, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers, our tears and our heartaches in the days and weeks, footsteps and miles to come. "Bob Miller was as fine of a man as I will ever know". I trust those words. My own daddy, who considered his oldest brother to be his "hero", made that statement to me and my brother too many times to doubt his word. Uncle Bob always sang the song, "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow". Today, he's rejoicing with the holder. His prayer would be that we all know who holds our tomorrow. I know he appreciates, and is proud of, the way that his family has watched over him these past years. I know he's watching over all of us now. Thank you Uncle Bob, for being the son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, friend and, most importantly, the Christian that you were. I will love you forever.... Until we meet again.

Though Bob's candle on Earth has been extinguished, his light will continue through his witness for Christ. The summers in Deer Park and family gatherings in Kentucky will always remain some of my most precious and cherished memories. My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Our loss is Heaven's gain. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this time.

My parents moved into Bob's neighborhood in 1978 and I grew up with the Millers as my neighbors. He was such a wonderful, friendly and genuinely good person. I miss seeing him sitting out on the front porch waving at people as they passed. No matter how bad your day was, his cheerful wave would not fail to make you smile. He has touched many lives through his kindness and humanity, including mine. My condolences to his entire family. He will truly be missed. I feel very lucky to have known him.

I have always respected my Uncle Bob and will be praying for the family. His girls used to stay with us every summer at some point. I always knew that my Uncle Bob was a Christian because of the life he led in front of us all of our life. I am looking at this that he now has no pain and is with Mama and Papa in heaven waiting for the rest of us to join them in the family circle.
