DECATUR Becky (nee Swisher), beloved wife of 61 years to James Decatur, cherished mother of Renee “Dee” (Paul) Morgan, Doug Decatur, devoted grandmother of Rebecca (Dr. James) Brown, Sarah Morgan, Stephen Decatur, James Joseph Decatur. Passed away in her sleep on May 3rd at the age of 83. Becky always put her family first and organized many family gatherings. She loved music and instilled that love of music in her children and grandchildren. She had a flower garden and was a member of the Clippinger Woods Garden Club. She volunteered and was past president of the Salvation Army Norwood Auxiliary, was a charter member of The Friends of The Pops (Cincinnati Symphony Pops), and The Showboat Majestic. When her children where in school she enjoyed being a member of the PTA . Additionally, she taught bridge and was an avid card player. Becky very much loved attending her church. She graduated from Terrace Park High School and attended Miami University. Along with her husband, she spent winters in Florida with her daughter. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 12th from 10AM until the time of funeral service 11AM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. If desired, donations may be directed to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 7416 Elm St. (45227).
