HONEBRINK
Marilyn Ann (nee Reardon) joined her siblings Marg Ceddia, Bob Reardon, and Pat Hartmann on Saturday, March 12, 2016. It is surmised that Marg and Pat are already teaching her how to play bridge. She was born on August 4, 1929 to Pierce and Lucy (Knecht) Reardon. Marilyn was a brilliant woman who graduated from high school at age
16 and was valedictorian of her class. She had a sharp wit and a sharp tongue and did not suffer fools easily. Marilyn was an avid quilter and was renowned for her homemade pies and noodles. She loved words and abhorred poor grammar. She bemoaned the phrase "have went".
"It is have gone.....on my tombstone I am going to to have written HAVE GONE". She leaves behind her dearly loved husband of 65 years, Thomas (Tom) Honebrink, five children, Terri (Joe) Grein, Tina (Gary)Volz, Tom (Terry), Jayne (Paul) Jahn, and John; nine grandchildren, Chip, Sara, Adam, Bo, Annie, Shelly, Jimmy, Erin, and Johnny; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved, and will be forever missed. Memorials may be sent in her honor to the St Vincent de Paul Society, 1125 Bank St (45214). Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 5-8PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, March 18th at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 7121 Plainfield Rd.(45236). Rest in peace Mom. You have earned it. Love you always.
