What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. I feel so fortunate that I got to know George and his wonderful family. He was an exceptional generous man; wonderful mentor and I do regret that I drifted away in life and lost contact with him. Today, I found out about his passing and was absolutely shocked. May GOD bless his soul and rest in peace. George, for sure you are missed.

I was saddened to learn about George's passing. Jill & I were childhood BFFs with many a sleepover. I spent so much time on Tiki Dr that Carol and George became surrogate parents to me. I adored the Jacobs family and can only hope that the passing of their father will bring them together to remember all the fun times. Family is so very important. I'm sorry I can't be there in person to hug you all.
With a heavy heart and much love,
Jill Hayes Breland

Dear family and friends. I am so deeply sorry to hear about your loss. George will be missed, but not forgotten because Jesus' words found at (John 5:28,29) says there will be a resurrection. So what this mean is that George will be given a fresh new start without sickness and death (Rev. 21:4) with the prospect of living forever in a peaceful new world. (Psalms 37:29) I hope these promises found in the Bible bring comfort knowing that you have an opportunity to see him again to share more wonderful times together.

I was so saddened to read of Mr Jacobs passing. I remember him well as a young girl going to Lyon Jr. High and Withrow High School. He lead by example and always with a caring smile.
After graduating I worked for Provident Bank downtown where Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Brunner would make frequent visits to say hello.
Rest in Peace Mr. Jacobs and may your memory be for a blessing.

My condolences to the family. George was an outstanding educator. He was dedicated to CPS and the students he served. CPS has lost another icon.
