FRICKER Mary “Joan” Fricker (nee Goes), age 93, of Madison Place, passed away Wednesday morning, October 14, 2015, in her home. She was an active member of the St. Margaret-St. John Parish community and the Marielders for many years. Joan was a devoted wife to her late husband Paul Fricker. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Goes, brothers, Richard W. Goes and Harry Goes Jr. She is survived by loving daughters, Paula Marois, Mary M. “Peggy” Fricker, Pam Klug and Patty Kern (Dan), cherished grandmother of Jeannette Marois, Nathan and Neal Klug, Colleen Noble, Paul and Tim Kern, and 8 great-grandchildren. Joan is most remembered for the loving care she provided to family and friends, along with her love of painting, design, and gardening. She was a longtime member of the Rosie Reds and a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball team. She will always be remembered for her most delicious Christmas Cookies. Visitation will be held on Monday, October19th from 10AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Margaret of Cortona- St. John Parish, 6000 Murray Ave. (45227) Fairfax. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, devotions can be made to the following, St. Margaret-St. John Parish or Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, (45263-3597), or The Franciscan Friars, 1615 Vine St. (45202).
