BARROWS Ruth J. (nee Jolly), beloved wife of 61 years to the late Alvin H. Barrows, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Ruth was the cherished mother of Amy (Harry) Nisonger, Rick (Sue) Barrows, and Ann (Dick) Satterfield. Ruth is survived by 8 grandchildren: Laura Sims, Timothy Nisonger, Tom & Bill Barrows, and Will, Emily, David & Allie Satterfield and 4 great grandchildren. Ruth was a constant source of support for her husband Al’s career at United States Steel. While raising three children, she was active in the community, church and many volunteer efforts such as Interparish Ministries. She was a member of Hyde Park Country Club, the University Club and Travel Club of Cincinnati. She had many friends and travelled extensively. Friends are invited to gather with her Family on Tuesday, April 7th from 4-6 pm at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 8th at 11 am at Armstrong Chapel, 5125 Drake Rd. (45243). In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed in the form of a donation to Interparish Ministries, 3509 Debolt Rd., Newtown, OH 45244 or Planned Parenthood of Cincinnati, 2314 Auburn Avenue, Cinti., OH 45219.
