Happy Birthday Ruthie! We celebrated your incredible life 4/19/15. It was a beautiful sunny morning in Osseo, Michigan. We were thankful to sing Happy Birthday one last time as we placed her next to our dear mother. I think about her fondly each day and even though that bright contagious smile is no longer brightening our days on earth, I am certain it is lighting the heavens above! Ruth brought such joy to any individual that was lucky enough to get to know her. I marvel at the growth that she experienced in Cincinnati. She achieved so much in the twenty years here. She was employed, had her own apartment and shared a lovely place with Connie, her dear roommate of 16 years. Ruth became her own advocate and truly became my older sister, wise beyond her years! She taught me so many things, patience, courage, persistence, grace, appreciation for the small things in life and the unconditional love of a sister. I will carry her lovingly in my heart and memories forever!
