Esther was a best friend for over thirty years. We both worked together at Indian Hill Schools and went to lunch together every day with friends Harold Bush and Jim Moorman. Those were good times in the late 70's. Es, as everyone called her, retired many years before I did but we remained friends and loved to lunch together, especially at the Original Pancake House. After her husband died, Es moved to Amber Park. I had a lovely visit with Es just two weeks ago and we had Frisch's fish sandwiches and vegetable soup in her apartment at Amber Park. We talked about baseball and the Reds. Es loved all sports and I think her favorite was football. From the time I first met Es, she was my role model. I loved her high heels and red lipstick and her kind nature and her stories about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We always stopped at Walgreen's to shop during the times when we were out together. I will miss her so very much.

Dear Sue and John, You must know how much I valued your Mom's friendship. We were good friends for over thirty years and I felt she was my role model. We had great lunches together in the late 70's and then, after Es retired from Indian Hill Schools, we often got together for visits. Just two weeks ago we had Frisch's fish sandwiches, vegetable soup, and goodies from Busken's at her apartment at Amber Park. We both loved to watch the Reds' games and I know her favorite sport was football. I'm going to miss my friend but loved our times together. She had a wonderful life and was always gentle, kind, loving, and happy. My sincere sympathy is with all of Es' family. Love, Rosemary
