Jess and Meg, What a beautiful and wonderful mother and person you have in Nancy! You two are the loves of her life and everything she lived for. We love you all very much and from the bottom of our hearts we send you our deepest and most sincere love and sympathy. We will miss Nancy very much. You must always keep close in heart and mind her deep love, devotion and pride for you as you two were her reason for living. Nancy is an incredible testament of humility, simplicity, dignity and love. There is so much that this world can learn from this exceptional woman, your Mom. God bless and love always, Christopher and Gus

My name is Kriss Ashing. I am the younger brother of Leslie Ashing. Ny earliest memory of Nancy is the day she pulled up in her brand new 1974 Camaro that she bought with her OWN money she earned working at Thriftway. It was an awesome site.
Also, in 1981 I was a junior at Indian Hill High School. Nacny was kind enough to accommodate me and my fried Barry Knabe for the weekend to visit the campus of Ohio State University. She was a great host. Especially since Barry was serve a "bad" hamburger from McDonald's and on her couch ALL weekend. She nurtured him and still found time to give me a tour of the university. She was amazing.

Jess and Meghan: On behalf of our family, I want to express our overwhelming sadness for the two of you in the loss of your mom. I have sat with your mom at many a football and basketball game over the past four years, including the recent competition. She always expressed how proud she was of the two of you for your commitment to your education, your cheerleading, your volunteer work and jobs. Her love and support of you was always evident in her tone of voice. You were always the topic of her conversations. I know that your well-being was foremost in her heart, and I hope that that is what you will remember as you sift through the complicated emotions that come with loss. Our thoughts are with you. This is very sad news. I recently saw Nancy and Jessica at the grocery and we talked for a short time. Nancy was very caring of my situation and once lent me a book of inspirations. She said is was really helpful for her and it came to be for me as well. Nancy has my utmost respect as a single parent. Megan and Jessica are especially in my prayers and thoughts.
