Dear Pat Wynne and family,
It seems like yesterday that I was a guard for the high school and later an Indian Hill Ranger. I knew you guys growing up. I had the privelage of meeting and getting to know your parents and family. I stopped by St. Gertrude church yesterday after work and saw the beautiful flowers from family and friends in the back of church. When I saw the name I was shocked and sad to see your mom's name. She was the kindess person I think I have ever met. I know how much she meant to all of you and how much she loved you all as she always mentioned you. It seems funny but when I use to seal coat driveways (covered in brewer cote) she always took the time to say kind things to me even as dirty as I looked. I will always remember her kindness and cheerful attitude as well as treating people with respect. She was a special lady! God bless you and your family.

Dear Susie, Mike and Family:
We knew Betty as both a neighbor and friend. Our fondest memories are of meeting Betty while walkiing Sadie on the road. As Sadie licked our feet and wagged her tail, we'd share family happenings, community gossip and have a good "visit." Of course Sadie's health and happieness was always an important topic of discussion. Betty did just about everything to indulge Sadie's desires, including her love of bacon. It is a special tribute to your Mom's love and gift for putting all things in life in proper persepective that the more bacon Sadie ate, the healthier and happier she seemed to be!
We feel very priviledged to have known Betty. She was a treasue and the very essence of life on our beloved Key. We share your grief...and celebrated the kindness, concern and generosity she showed family, friends and neighbors alike. We wll miss her.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Mike & Linda

Dear Susie, Mike, and family,
I just found out about the passing of your mother yesterday and wanted to express my sympathies to you and your family.
I didn't know your mother well, but, when I first moved to Indian Hill I started walking and would usually walk down your street and through the primary school lot. One day your mother was walking and we passed and started chatting. She was probably the nicest, friendliest person that I ever met while living there. We only spoke for ten or fifteen minutes and I think later Susie, we became friends and I saw your mother a few more times. It always touched my heart how easy she was to talk to and how she seemed so positive. And, I can say that she certainly passed that on to her children. Never have I met a kinder family and Susie, I have always cherished our friendship. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Susan Kothegal

Dear Wynne Family, Our sincere condolences for the passing of Betty. She was a very special person to us and was always attentive to Lily. I remember the hosted tea parties and her generous gifts to our daughter. Betty loved and cared so dearly for her pet 'Sadie'. It was my duty and pleasure to care for 'Sadie' over the years. Betty's kind heart and sincere demeanor will be truly missed. With Love and Sympathy Julie,Peter and Lily Hill

You have left our family with so many wonderful memories of celebrations at your home on Manasota Key. Your warmth and generosity added much to the already beautiful surroundings on the Key. Rest in peace, Betty.
