KENRICH Betty Jane, age 86, died on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was born February 13, 1928 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dr. Walter H. and Catherine V. Roehll. She is survived by her husband of over 63 years John L. Kenrich. She is also survived by her five children, John David Kenrich, Mary Jane Donaldson, Kathryn Ann Hulbert, Thomas Roehll Kenrich and Walter Clarence Kenrich, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Dr. Walter H. Roehll, Jr. of Middletown, Ohio, and was preceded in death by her sister, the late Janet M. Cockman or Middletown, Ohio. Betty attended Randolph-Macon College for Women and, in 1951, graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Subsequently, she studied teaching children with learning disabilities at the Wellesley Institute, Wellesley, MA. In the 1970's she initiated programs at the Wyoming, Ohio Public Schools for teaching children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, teacher and artist. She continually encouraged those she loved to be all they could be. Her generous heart, candid charm, and fighting spirit will live on through the many lives she touched over the years. Following a private burial service at Rest Haven Memorial Park, a memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, 225 Wyoming Ave. (45215) at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597 (45263-3597) or the Mayo Clinic, PO Box 450, Albert Lea, MN (56007-0450).
