LAMPING Paul F., beloved husband of Arlene (nee Lambert), cherished father of Lisa (Gregory) Meiners, Kim (Brad Grubbs) Lamping and Jeff Lamping, devoted grandfather of Jonathan (Katie) Meiners and Christopher Meiners, loving brother of Julius "Bud" Lamping, Carl Lamping and Helen Kohlmeyer. Passed away on Wednesday, September 10th at the age of 87. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th from 5-8PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 9:30AM at St. Margaret of Cortona, 6000 Murray Rd. (45227). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Mr. Lamping graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy in 1955, he later served as a member and the Dean of the Pharmacy's Advisory Board, and as the Vice President and President of the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Pharmacy. Mr. Lamping was the owner of Lamping's Pharmacy and was a member of the Veterans Apothecary Association and was the Chaplain of the American Legion Post 318. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be directed to either University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy, Attn: Melanie Fulton, 3225 Eden Ave. HPB136 (45267) or the Reds Community Fund, 100 Joe Nuxhall Way (45202).
