Dear Nancy, Jen, Matthew, and family, We are so saddened and sorry for your loss. We have such fond memories of Bernie that we'll cherish forever. He sure had a way of spreading joy to those around him! I fondly remember the times he used to come in and brighten our day at the office with a smile, some cheerful words, and sometimes, with cinnamon bread to share! Of course, he beamed with pride whenever he talked about his grandkids! I also enjoyed hearing stories of Toby and Teddy, running into him at Kroger on occasion, and our annual Halloween visits with the kids. He touched many lives, including those of my family, and will be dearly missed! I pray that you will find comfort in the love of family and friends surrounding you at this time and peace in knowing that Bernie is enjoying his new home in heaven with Jesus.
