Dear Ken and Mike. We were shocked to hear about your dad's passing. He was always so nice. He deserved a much longer life after all the care giving and support he had to endure. I still remember fondly the times we spent at your house as kids while your mom and dad and my parents did their socializing thing. Aliens was the first really scarey you all made me watch - and listen to Queen. My mom loved your parents and they were special friends. I am sad they are gone from this earth, my mom included. But hopefully they are all united again and having a blast. May our kids carry their spirit.
I first met Dave at the age of 8 and lived next door to him until I was married many years later. He was an awesome neighbor and friend. My parents loved Dave and enjoyed many years of laughter and memories living on Monticello next to the Hoffman's.

Ken and Mike, Your dad was such a special man. I know I didn't know him well and only for a short time, but he always greeting me with a pleasant smile and sincere kindness. I'm sure he was the very best grandfather and adored by his grandchildren. I hope it is of comfort that you all were by his side. I will keep you in my prayers.
