Karen was always nice to talk with when we had the neighbor ladies dinners. We didn't know her well, but we always got a kick out of she and her mother walking the dogs! When we moved to the neighborhood, they would always walk together and the one dog used to howl like crazy. Karen will be well remembered for her pleasant personality. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time of loss. The DuPree's

Karen was on of the first people I met when I started working at GE. Karen was a part of a very special team that even though most have now gone separate ways, has still stayed in touch and still meets for lunches and happy hours often. I was brand new to the Cincinnati area at the time and she was kind enough to invite us over to lunch. These were the days before GPS, so I had asked for directions from our office to her home. She explained, "You should head south on Route 4 and turn left on by-pass 50." I got pretty much to Norwood before I gave up on ever seeing any sign saying "by-pass 50". "Did you mean Glendale-Milford Road?" I asked her when I finally made it to her house. Needless to say, I was very late to lunch. She just laughed at me. I accused her of hazing the new guy. And we kept jawing at each other and having fun for years to come. I'm shocked to hear of her passing, especially since another of our GE collegues just visited me in Florida last Friday told me Karen had been to recent gatherings and seemed chipper as ever. I know everyone in our GE gang will miss Karen terribly. Rest in peace, Karen.

I was welcome in the GE Data Center by Karen when arriving from Snecma, France for my first assignment in 1986. We built a friendly relationship over the 6 years I spent working next to her. Each time I came back to Cincy, she would be at the Data Center gatherings. I wish to express my deep sorrow and sadness. I will miss Karen; Eric, from Paris, France.
