Obituary of Walter Davis

Walter J., beloved husband and best friend of Sharon (nee Stegmann) Barone, devoted father of Hannah, Molly, Jake and Eli Davis and step-father of Brendon Barone, son of the late William and Marilyn Davis and loving son-in-law of Lee and Linda Stegmann. He is survived by brothers; Greg, Bill and Ron Davis and sister; Deanna Whitaker. He is also survived by brother-in-laws, Jonathon Lytle and Mark Stegmann, as well as sister-in-law, Laura Lytle, in addition to several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He will be especially missed by his very special Great Dane, Sam. Passed away peacefully surrounded in love with his wife and mother-in-law by his side on Monday, January 20th at the age of 44 after a courageous battle with renal cell carcinoma. Walt continued to fight his battle with cancer with unwavering strength, dignity and faith. Throughout his fight, his main concern continued to be his family. Walt was well-known for his wonderful sense of humor and strong work ethic. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th from 2PM until 5PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 27th at 9:30AM at St. Gertrude Parish, 7630 Shawnee Run Rd. (45243) Madeira. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Walter proudly served in the Army Field Artillery during Dessert Storm and was stationed in Germany. In lieu of flowers, donations for a college fund for his children may be made to the Walter Davis Memorial Fund (c/o Sharon Barone) at any Fifth Third Bank (5/3rd) Bank
