GARDNER James Joseph, beloved husband of 60 years to Joan A. (nee Farmer), cherished father of Linda (Tom) Mueller, Lori Gardner Sommer, Spencer Gardner and Peggy (Gary) Johns, devoted grandfather of Adam (Laura) Mueller, Eric Mueller, Jonathan Mueller, Maria Sommer, Matthew Gardner, Nathan Gardner, Kyle Johns, Blaire Johns and Madeline Johns, loving Pap Great to Addy and Amelia Mueller. Brother of Louis (Elaine) Gardner and preceded in death by Bill Gardner, Ginny Crosby, Helen Corsmeier and Don Gardner. He is survived by his brother-in-law Richard T. (Joyce) Farmer, numerous nieces and nephew and his many, many friends. Passed away in his home on Sunday, November 24, surrounded by his family. He leaves a trail of beauty and a legacy of generosity that will live forever in everything that is important and in every action that matters. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd from 4-7PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 9:30AM at St. Rose Church, 2501 Riverside Dr. (45202). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to Mary Magdalene House, 1221 Main St., Suite A (45202).
