Edward Palmer, Jr., 93, of Cincinnati Ohio passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023. Ed is survived by his wife of 72 years Ruby E. (Bolger) Palmer, his daughter Doris Palmer Luttrell and son Dale Wayne and Jody (Shelden) Palmer. Ed was preceded in death by his father, Edward Palmer Sr and mother Myrtle (Smith) Palmer, and his brother Douglas Palmer Sr. Ed was born in Cincinnati and lived here his entire life. In high school he trained as a television repair serviceman. He met Ruby and they married in 1951. He was soon drafted into the Army and served at Percy Jones Army Hospital in Michigan. On returning to Cincinnati, he and Ruby owned resturants/bars in Madisonville (Bramble Inn) in the 60’s and later the Pour House in Oakley, best known for the family friendly atmosphere and awesome double deckers. After selling the Pour House, Ed went to work selling custom vans, trucks and fleets at Courtesy Chevrolet in Oakley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to SPCA of Cincinnati or Little Sisters of the Poor. Services were held at the convenience of the family.
