We loved Annie and will miss her dearly. So many fond times we spent together in celebration of so many events and in so many places. She was like family. Our hearts are heavy to have her leave us so soon; but, trust she is in a better place than her final years allowed her to be. She was a trooper, she was strong, she was our beloved friend.

I will always remember Annie as an athlete, artist, loving wife and mother but mostly I'll remember her smile and joy. I loved seeing the picture of her in her nursing uniform and realized how much she looked like her aunt Julie with whom she had a special bond. I like thinking of the two of them together now (with Mom reminding her "Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

I only met Annie a few times, but I was a very good friend of Joe as we worked at neighboring schools in Over the Rhine for many years. He talked about her a lot and I know that she was a wonderful wife and mother. She was tough facing Altheimer's like a champ and I know she worked hard to keep her life a normal as possible for as long as she could. I know that she will be missed by family and friends.
My deepest sympathy is with everyone.

Annie was always upbeat and fun to work with at Shriner's Burns Institute. I remember when she was pregnant with her children how excited she was. She loved each of them so much, and Joe too. I know she will be missed, by so many. May she be at peace in her loving savior's arms.
