Esther Crabtree

Obituary of Esther L. Crabtree

Esther Louise Crabtree (affectionately known as “Snookie”) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on September 11, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born to Finley and Mary Ann McGrady on September 4, 1935 in Cincinnati Ohio and was the youngest of six siblings. After high school, Esther married Wheeler Crabtree and together they had three children; Karen Ann, Jeffrey Duane and Amy Lynn. Esther‘s family was her sole focus and she worried over and took care of them till the end, often times to the exclusion of her own needs. Our hearts are so broken by this loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. To say she will be greatly missed by all is an understatement but our hearts are glad that she is dancing and rejoicing in heaven. We are hugging her in our souls every day. Esther is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. To know her was to love her. A celebration of life will be held on Sat, September 30, 2023 from 9:30am until the time of family remembrance 10:45, at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood.
