Dr. Blazic was the most kind, compassionate and understanding doctor. He was my oral surgeon since in the beginning.... having my wisdom teeth pulled. All the way to the end, post cancer treatments and realizing the toll left me having to extract my last tooth due to abnormal bone growths. I lost my smile, a lot of my jaw, but was always reassured by Dr. Blazic, that my strength would get me through the long months of multiple surgical recoveries. Dr. Blazic still showed up and performed my surgeries, even while going through his own cancer journey. A dedicated doctor, surgeon with a heart of gold. A soft pat on ny back and shoulder, with a smile during my last visit with him as he told me, you did good. I had a feeling this morning... as Dr. Blazic crossed my mind and after looking online. I sadly found about his passing. Thank you Dr. Blazic for being not just being my amazing doctor, surgeon.. but one with the kindest soul on earth.

I am saddened and shocked of Dr Blazic’s passing. I started practicing in Forest Park in 1990 and John welcomed me to the community with open arms. We had lunch and discussed golf and our children’s activities. John will be deeply missed. Rest in power my friend.

I met John back in the 80’s at his favorite Sports Bar, “Barleycorns” in Montgomery. He was always upbeat, got along with everyone, made a lot of friends, loved talking sports, and loved playing liar’s poker with the “boys.” He was very active in the football contests, pools, and basketball brackets. He loved to talk smack about the big games and his favorite teams. It was a pleasure to know John as a good customer, good friend and he even yanked out my wisdom teeth.

The McGregors will miss JB!!! He was fun, energetic, amazing and always a good friend. We enjoyed playing golf together, being on the same softball teams, going out to dinner together and, of course, house boating on the Kentucky and Tennessee lakes! JB was a joy to be with, he will be missed….. he was loved!!!!!

Q: What will you never forget about John?
A: I will never forget how gracious John was to his wife Barb’s crazy nurse friends. John and Barb would open their beautiful Desert Mountain home for us to visit and decompress from our stressful work lives. We would all enjoy the lovely dinners and John’s funny stories. Hiking high in the mountains on the property was a great reboot before going back to reality. Many Thanks!❤️

Oct 17, 2015 - That was the day I met John on the first tee of Renegade Golf Course. I had my Ohio State gear on, he had his Alabama gear on. We rode together and all I heard for 18 holes was how great 'Bama was, and how bad my Buckeyes were. Somehow, someway, we ended up becoming good friends, we played a lot of golf together. Whenever he was here, we'd play - John wearing 'Bama gear, me with OSU gear. I always heard "Roll Tide Roll" from that man. I was fortunate to meet Barb and the Kids, John truly had a great support Team!
He was a good friend, and a good man. I'm going to miss spending time with him.

Dear Barb and family!
We are so saddened by the loss of John! He was a wonderful man and indeed THE best supporter of the Crimsonati Alabama group that I ever knew! I learned so much about football from sitting with John week after week and watching Alabama football! He was funny, generous and ever so kind guy!! He also was so kind to ask about our sons every chance he could and that too was so special!

Doc,
We know you are at peace and for that we are grateful.
We will miss our Sunday night dinners at Montgomery Inn with you and Barb. We will continue to go with Barb and you will always be there with us in spirit.
