Obituary of Leeroy “Roy” Hilderbrand

Leeroy E. Hilderbrand age 86 of Loveland Ohio, born in St Louis MO, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, peacefully in the care of Hospice of Cincinnati after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Roy was a loving husband of Audrey Hilderbrand for the past 66 years. He is survived by his four children; Debora (Gerald)Kirby, Sheri (Tim)Wesley, Jeff (Tammy)Hilderbrand, Jennifer (Tim) Adams, and 14 grandchildren; Bryan, Chris (Sheri), Alex, Brad (Madison), Justin (Christen), Travis, Jared, Jay (Jessica), Shelby, Zach, Payton, Nigel, Chase and Marlo. Roy had 12 Great Grandchildren: Dina, Daniel, Jax, Eden, Weston, Harrison, Harlee, Blake, Brynn, Haylee, Finlee, and Jace. Roy was a dedicated family man always relishing his time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and biking each summer. Come fall he enjoyed having his entire family at stickers grove for his union picnic. His entire family was his pride and joy! His humor, goofiness, sayings, and facial expressions will be missed by all. Roy spent his career as an electrician with Cincinnati Gas and Electric company then transitioned to the Big Green Treehouse as an elf at the Keebler Baking company. Visitation will be held at Thomas-Justin Funeral Home (7500 Montgomery rd., Cincinnati) on Tuesday, November 8th from 4-7pm followed by a memorial service at 7:00pm. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetary (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati) on Wednesday, November 9th at 12 Noon. The family asks that donations be considered to St Jude Childrens Research.
