Obituary of Darl C. Orewiler

Darl C. Orewiler (1922-2022) passed away peacefully on Sunday , October 16th at Anthology of Mason assisted living. Darl was born in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Harvey and Charlotte Marie (Quaintance) Orewiler. Darl was the beloved husband to Helen Orewiler (deceased) and the loving father to Linda Orewiler and Douglas Orewiler. He was also the dear brother to Janis (Orewiler) Rush, Joyce (Orewiler) Hedges, Don Orewiler and Lee Orewiler. Darl served his country during World War II as a highly decorated Navy fighter pilot aboard the US San Jacinto aircraft carrier in the Pacific theater. He also had a long career in the food industry with 19 years in management at the Kroger Company and 20+ years as owner of a food brokerage company based in Cincinnati. Darl enjoyed golfing with his friends at Kenwood Country Club and doing home improvement projects. A private memorial service celebrating Darl’s long and joyous life will be held at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Montgomery Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 on October 29th at 11:00 am.
