ENGLERT Vincent Patrick, age 18 died suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2021. “Vinnie” as he was known was the beloved son of Meg Apke and Mark Englert and younger brother to Eddie and Mary. He was the grandson of Mary and the late Ron Apke and the late Cis and Eddie Englert. Vinnie was adored by his uncles and aunts, Chip and Flo Englert, Jeff Englert, Tim Englert, John (Ellen) Apke, Nancy (Steve) Jacobs, Joe (Nattie) Apke, Pat (Jen) Apke, Steve (Sue) Apke, and Ann (Tom) Ross. First cousins, Melanie (Jake), Michael, Maria, Macy, Mike (Ariel), Ron (Cayla), Daniel, Sean, Jim, Nikkie, Sammie, Zachary, Jacob, Sam, Chelsea, Tess, Troy, Courtney (Matt), Emily, Maggie, and Ralph. Vinnie leaves behind many other family members including great uncles and aunts and other cousins and extended family members. Vinnie graduated from Madeira High School in May 2020 and was attending the University of Cincinnati studying special education. Vinnie played seasons of baseball, basketball, and football at Madeira and was selected captain of the football team and earned all CHL honors. Vinnie has many friends as he was so well loved for his many traits including his gentle kindness and compassion, charm, eagerness to help others especially those with physical challenges, politeness to others, tender loving nature but mostly for that charismatic smile and grin. (45236). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 10:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 7754 Montgomery Rd (45236). Masks and social distancing will be enforced at the church. After the Mass of Christian Burial everyone is invited to join the family at Francis R. Healy Community Center (Deer Park Chamberlain Park) 7640 Plainfield Rd.
