Obituary of Jean T. Schreiner

Jean Schreiner (nee Tellstrom) of Cincinnati passed away on December 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Dr. A. William Schreiner and her daughter, Patricia Gail. She is survived by her beloved son David (Nancy), grandchildren Andrew (Liz), Maggie (Bryan) Walker, Libby (David) Scott, William, six great-grandchildren Charlotte, Henry and Clara Schreiner, Blair Walker, Penelope and Lillian Scott, and brothers Jan (Marsha) Tellstrom and Jero Tellstrom. Jean graduated as a registered nurse from St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She met Bill while working at the Dayton VA Hospital. Jean was an accomplished artist and had a lifelong passion for painting. She was a long-time member of The Cincinnati Woman’s Club and The Village Garden Club of Indian Hill. A family graveside service will be held Friday, December 18 at St. Mary Cemetery. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at The Deupree House when reopened to friends and family.
