Obituary of Joseph "Joey" Conner Hanlon

Joseph Connor Hanlon, born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 31, 1995. He was a 2014 graduate of Indian Hill High School. Sadly departed from us on November 22, 2020. He is the beloved son of Thomas and Eileen Hanlon, dear brother of Kaitlyn Hanlon, precious grandson of Mieko Morozumi, the late Walter Hanlon, and the late Herbert and Irene Heppler. Much loved nephew to Jerome and Barbara Hanlon, Timothy Heppler, Marion Collins (Martin Cespedes), Thomas Heppler, Lenore Heppler (Robert Drozda), John Heppler, Paula Carrick, Christine Heppler, Karen Trentman and Kathleen (Gregory) Andrusak. Adored cousin to Jordan, Kelsey, Devin and Riley Andrusak, Haley and Maxwell Trentman, Kayley Sargent, Megan and Wyatt Carrick, Ethan Bulen and Elizabeth (Nicholas) Swint. Cherished friend to so very many. I will mourn for my son Joey. I will mourn for his life not realized. I will mourn that I am the one mourning for him and that it is not he, for me. More so, I will mourn for his mother Eileen, his sister Kaitlyn, his grandmother Mieko, his extended family, his dear friends and all that ever knew my precious son, my dear Joey. It is we, that must continue on without him. I know Joey will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. I feel his spirit will live within us all, all the days of our lives. I love you with all of my heart, my dear sweet Joey. A loving farewell, I bid you, my only son. May God embrace you and keep you safe until we meet again. Due to restrictions implemented by the health department, Eileen and I have decided to forgo any services at this time. A celebration of life for our dear Joey will be announced at a later date.
