Missy my sweet friend of over 25 years....thank you so much for taking me under your wings back on my first day at JFS. So many memories flood my mind. We traveled the county together far and wide on sunny days and inclement weather. We always had each other’s back and I am eternally grateful. I will miss those beautiful eyes and radiant smile. I love you but God loved you best.

I worked at JFS with Missy for 14 years and have been friends with her for 24 years. We became social workers/case managers at about the same time. We also became managers at JFS at about the same time. We shared many memories over the years. I remember mostly a lot of laughing between us, but at times we had to face very difficult cases together, and we both shared some tears together. Missy was a true hero in every way. She loved people.... all people. I saw her dedicate her life to the children and families of Cincinnati. Even though I never met her family ..I remember always thinking some wonderful people raised this young women. We often spoke about the love we both had for our two sisters and how becoming a aunt had changed our lives forever... she glowed when talking about her niece’s. I did not have the opportunity to cross paths with Missy often, but it was always enjoyable when I did. I enjoyed working with her on the occasions that afforded us and it was always a breeze when we did need to work together.
