Obituary of Carole A. Ziehm Ross

Carole Ann Ziehm Ross (Janssen) age 75, of Cincinnati for 57 years (born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by her father, Charles Janssen, mother Carlotta Janssen (Peterson), sister Carlene and beloved grandson Zachary Ziehm.  Former wife of the late Peter Ziehm.  Loving sister to Cathy, Chris, and Curtis of Wisconsin. Carole was the oldest of 69 grandchildren, leaving behind many living aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Loving mother to Jeffrey Stuart Ziehm, Kimberly Anne Quinn, NiCole Marie Wilhelm, and Corey Christopher Ziehm. Grateful mother in law to Jack Quinn and Kevin Wilhelm. Devoted grandmother to Jinny Ziehm, John Quinn (wife Maria Quinn), Laura Quinn, Megan Quinn, Emily Wilhelm, Madelyn Woeste and Tatum Ziehm. Great grandmother to Cannon Ziehm and Lennox Cavanaugh.

Carole was in her 40^th year as a seasoned member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Carole truly lived a life helping others and spent hours working with people in the program many whom have said; “she helped save my life”. Carole was an inspiration of strength and unconditional love to her children and many others. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished every hug and took every opportunity to show their photos and sing their praises. Hours spent playing with them and never missing their games, plays, birthdays and events made them know how special they were and how lucky they were to have a grandma like her.

Carole’s inspiring message, smile, and loving nature will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Her memory will always be honored and she will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be on Friday August 24^th from 4:00 until time of spoken remembrance at 7:00PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. in Kenwood where the funeral service will be Saturday, August 25th at 11am followed by committal prayers at Rest Haven Cemetery.
