FOPPE Miriam D. (nee Pike), beloved wife of 61 years to Robert “Bob” Foppe, passed away peacefully on Sept 24, 2015 at age 83. Loving mother of Doug (Betsy) Foppe, Drew Foppe, and Jan (Tim) Keckley; proud grandmother of Bob Foppe, Brad Foppe, John (Elise) Foppe, Sara (Craig) Jennings, Taylor Keckley, and Bryce Keckley; beloved sister of Victor (Maureen) Pike, Lois (John) Walsh, Jimmy (Diane) Pike, Jerry (Monica) Pike, and the late Jane Maurer/Jorgensen, sister-in-law to Pat (Bob) Von Korff, Rosemary (Dave) Sturm, Charlotte (Dick) Shultz and, Celeste (Bert) Riehle, and the late Peg (Ray) Von Hagel and Bill (Betty) Foppe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th from 9AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Ave (45243). Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation, 7625 Camargo Rd. (45243), UC Medical Center Burn Center, c/o UC Health Foundation, 3400 Burnett Ave. (45229) or the charity of your choice.
