WIRTH Robert B., Jr., beloved husband of Patricia (nee Moon), devoted father of Thomas Flagg, of Henderson, NV and Barbara (Kevin) Strait, of Middletown, OH, loving grandfather of Emily Flagg of Denver, CO., Caroline and Elizabeth Strait, of Middletown, OH, cherished brother of Penny Dunn, Blaine Wirth, the late Audrey Munn and the late Marilyn Trinder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away on Sunday, October 9th at the age of 86. Mr. Wirth served with the 1st Infantry Division WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a graduate of Syracuse University. He was a CPA and held membership in the Financial Executives Institute for 21 years. Charter member and Past President of the Lions Club, Chairman on the Planning Board, member of the School Board in Spencerport, NY. He was very active in UCC and Methodist churches. Treasurer of St. Paul United Methodist Church, President of the Madeira Home for Mentally Disabled, and Chairman of the Board of Hidden Creek Condos. The family will receive friends Friday October 14, 2011 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 8221 Miami Ave. (45243) from 10am until time of memorial service at 11am. If desired, donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Lynn St., Suite 1026 (45206) or the St. Paul UMC Music Department. The family would like to thank the staff of The Lodge Care Center and all of his wonderful caregivers during his illness.
