To Those Who Love Susie,
I am saddened to learn of the passing of Susie. I went to Clifton Elementary School with her and kept in touch though we went on to separate high schools. During my walks down memory lane, I often thought of her. I was 10 years old when I started Clifton. I was shy and didn’t have many friends but that only served to encourage Susie. She was a child herself but beyond her years with words of encouragement, helping as only another child could understand the challenges of starting a new school. I remembered my childhood with Susie fondly—she was kind, nonjudgmental and had a heart of gold.
In high school, I remembered how much fun I had hanging out with her and a few other girls at her slumber party—all of us laughing late into the night. She was thoughtful and invited me to Summit Country Day for a day—it was her way of sharing something she valued. Every once a while I would see Madonna and her antics and wonder what Susie was thinking when she told me Madonna was her hero. We lost touch late in high school, but I will never forget what a difference she made in my childhood.
I’m sorry for your loss. Susie lived life as an excellent human being.

Susanna, we didn't know each other long, but I feel you were a friend who would've done anything for me. You did, in fact, help me out with my father when my Mom got sick suddenly and was rushed to the hospital. I will miss talking to you and seeing you walk Gracie. I know she will miss you and so will all of your friends here in the neighborhood. I'm glad you're suffering is over, but our suffering is just beginning. R.I.P. dear Susanna. You've earned it.

My deepest condolences to Susie's friends and family. May she Rest In Peace and find comfort in God's hands. She was beautiful inside and out. I knew Susie since elementary school and than followed into High School. We just reunited this year and we were suppose to have lunch on Tuesday.
