Obituary of Herbert Lee Krombholz

Herbert Lee Krombholz, born and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for 85 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Mary (nee Creveling). Devoted father to Lynn Buckley (Tim) and H. Lee Krombholz (Heather). Cherished grandfather to Kirtley and Isabelle Krombholz. Graduated from Deer Park High School, attended the University of Cincinnati and studied watchmaking at the Folger Institute. In the US Army, he served the 37th Infantry Division but having been an accomplished musician, he was selected to play in the Army Big Band. His tour of duty ended in 1953 at which time he joined the family jewelry business. He served on the board of the Blue Ash Building and Loan, was Master of the Montgomery Lodge #94 F&AM and was President of the Southern Ohio Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America. He was a longtime supporter of the Concours d’Elegance, member of the New Horizon Band, Stumps Boat Club and Indian Hill Historical Society. Visitation will be Tuesday November 8th from 11:30 AM until time of funeral services at 1:30PM at the Thomas-Justin Memorial 7500 Montgomery Rd. in Kenwood. Memorials may be made to: Indian Hill Historical society, Gardner Center for Parkinson’s Disease or the Cincinnati Concours Foundation.
