Mark will always be in my thoughts....
I wanted to share one of many very funny memories of Mark. My sister and I came down to a family reunion (at the time we were 22 -24) well we decided lets go out the night before, after asking Aunt Dottie where to go she suggested we ask Mark he would surely know where to send us. So we called him to find out where a fun place for 2 young girls to go out on the town and have some fun, he gives us directions so we follow them just as we were told and where does he send us, HOOTERS. We had a great laugh and surely gave him a hard time the next day since that wasn't quite what we were thinking.
I'm so thankful we've became so close over the past years he will be greatly missed

One of my favorite stories is told by my Grandpa. Mark's Mom(my Aunt Dottie) handed Mark to my grandpa(Mark's Uncle Ralph) when he was about 6-7mos. old. When Grandpa got finished playing with him he stood him on the floor where Mark fell flat on his face & began to cry. My Grandma(Mark's Aunt Mary) yelled at my Grandpa "Ralph why did you do that?" to which my Grandpa replied "Well he was so big, I thought he could walk!". Our family has always enjoyed so much laughter together. We've been blessed by each others love!

Over 40 years ago Mark was watching a Sunday softball beer game from the end of Haley Avenue. It was the weekly Bramble Inn "Ragamuffin" game. We needed a umpire and I talked Mark into calling the game. At the time he was 16 or 17 years old and most of us were 10-15 years older than him. We all went back to Bramble Inn and managed to get Mark a glass or two of beer. We later played a lot of softball on the same team and went to many tournaments out of town.
Mark was a very good athlete and fun to be around. He made a lot of friends over the years and will be missed. I regret that I had not seen him in many years, but I'll never forget him.
Rest in Peace my friend.
God Bless the Monterosso Family.

What a testament the visitation was to Mark and to the entire Monterosso family. It truly was a wonderful tribute to Mark. Even though I didn't get to see Mark that often, I will certainly miss his smile and outgoing personality. You will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Mark's family and friends. Sometimes we don't always understand why the Lord takes our loved one's away at such an early age, but we can take solace in knowing that Mark is in His care and suffers no more. We sure will miss Mark at our annual golf outings as they will never be the same without him. We feel blessed that we had the opportunity to know Mark and that he was part of our lives. May God bless you and comfort you in this time of need.
