Ed and I took different paths in live after 20 years of marriage. But several years ago those paths game together and we began a new relationship that grew into a very close friendship and a deeper love and committment to each other and our family. 40 years ago we spent our first Thanksgiving together at Ed's parents house. We spent our last Thanksgiving together last week at his parents. Ed and I have shared soo much in a short time. The most important was our love and pride in our sons Çhris and Bill. To Ed the past was just that and tomorrow was too far away to worry about. He lived in the day and many of them wern;t long enough for all the things he wanted to do. Usually things for others. I admired his devotion to his family & friends. He had simple needs for himself but made sure others were taken care of not matter what it took. He loved the water especially boating and fishing on Lake Erie. He really liked the movie the Perfect Storm" Photography was not a job but a passion. He was patient at getting just the right pose and people would be awed when they would see their family portraits. I worked with Ed almost every weekend and saw so much more of his personality. Ed had a great sense of humor and made many people laugh and smile. Especially me. He would tease me about my eating habits and would say "you know Terry green M & M's aren't vegetables. He ate a lot of broccli. We would talk 4-5 times a day and never hung up without say I Love You. I will miss those conversations the most. Ed was taken by God way to soon But God had His reasons. He also had his reasons for our paths to reconnect. Thanksgiving will not be a sad day in the years to come but a day I will treasure as a beginning with Ed. Ed was very happy and loved deeply and will always be in our hearts. I will miss him

My eulogy to Ed Many years ago Ed and I took different paths in life after 20 years of marriage. I was introduced to you by my late husband Jack Wise when you both attended Purcell High School. That was 47 years ago in 1964. That night we all went on a double date in Jack's 56 Chevy to the Oakley Drive-In Movie Theater. That was the beginning of a lifetime of memories. As a friend, and with our families we had many great times together. We saw the birth of our children and watched them grow from infancy to adults. Now they have children of their own, our grandchildren. We spent countless weekends camping, boating, swimming, canoeing, winter picnics, watching football, going to Coney Island, watching fireworks and taking the kids to hotels for New Year's Eve and then always bringing the party to your house on New Year's Day. What a great way it was to start a New Year, gathered with your best friends and our families. There were plenty of Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, Halloween Parties, Super Bowl Parties, Weddings, Baptisms, and even Funerals that we shared together and with our families. A lifetime friend does not happen in everyone's life, but I truly feel blessed that you were in mine. You were always there for anyone that needed you, helping out anyway you could. There really are no words in the comfort of knowing I could always talk with you no matter when or where you were. I just knew you would be there with an open heart and an ear that would listen. What a friend you were. Your passion for photography is your legacy in life. The thousands of photos you took in your lifetime brought smiles to thousands that will never forget the photographer. I remember when you took photos of me and my siblings at Spring Grove Cemetery so we could give our parents a special gift for Christmas. That was over 35 years ago. I still have the photos. Thanks for memory of that special day. Your Spirit will now live in the hearts of all those you touched during your lifetime. I'm so thankful that I was one of those you touched in many many ways. I will always remember you and until we meet again, I have another angel looking over me. Your lifetime friend on earth Erin Wise Etters PA
