LEGGETT Suzanne Lucille (nee Hendricks) born Sept 20,1926, in Cincinnati, to the late Herbert and Lillie Mae Hendricks, was welcomed into her Heavenly Father's arms on January 25, 2013, at 86, after bravely battling cancer since 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Bob"; brother, Harold; and sister, Youelta "Jock". She is survived by her unconditionally loved children: Patrick Innis, Cincinnati; Jacquelyn (Dwight) Innis Raulerson, Jax, FL; Stephen (Terri) Innis, Cincinnati; and Robynn Leggett Jaymes of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren Ronnie (Stephanie) Calugar, Jax, FL; David Calugar, Atlanta; Shannon (Wes)Foote, Atlanta; Micah (Brittany) Innis; and Jessica Innis, Cincinnati; and 7 great-grandchildren: Kaylin, Luke & Claire Calugar; Cait, Gracie & Daniel Foote; and Carmen & Ronin Innis. Also surviving is her loving sister, Thelma Hendricks Beckler, and many special nieces and nephews. A full-time mother, her family was her life. Her commitment to her children and her Savior is her legacy. Affectionately nicknamed "Lady", she was, in every since of the word, a true lady. She prayed each day for her family and friends by name. Her desire was that through her illness others would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. A long-time member of Landmark Baptist Temple in Cincinnati, she also lived in Roanoke,VA, where she was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. Her last perfect day included attending church with her family. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, in the chapel of Landmark Baptist, 1600 Glendale-Milford Rd. (45215) ; a celebration of her home going will follow at 2:00. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Eastgate Care Springs and Hospice of Cincinnati for their gentle care. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, (45263-3597). Condolences may be shared with the family through our website, ThomasJustinMemorial.com.
